Oleana is inspired by the Fauvist's bold brushstrokes and pure vibrant colors.

Fauvism, a French art movement from the early 1900s, which was especially worshipped by a circle of painters around Henri Matisse and Andrè Derain. Under the slogan "color liberation", the Fauvists emphasized the value of color and often used the colors pure, straight from the tube.

The artists were perceived as wild in their expression and were given the name "les fauves" which means wild animals! They did not intend to shock anyone, but wanted to experiment in a new way with colors and believed that colors were more important than the realism of a motif.
